More than 600 BCS officials visit the Science Museum
More than 600 BCS officers of the 75th basic training course of Bangladesh Public Administration Training Center visited the National Museum of Science and Technology-NMST in Agargaon. The trainees witnessed the original and historical exhibitions of science and various innovations, including various important installations and galleries of the Science Museum. Souvenirs were presented to these officers by the Science Museum authority.
Md Hadisur Rahman, Documentation Officer of the Science Museum, said the officers, who visited on Sunday and Monday, are working in 19 cadres of Bangladesh Civil Service. "The country has to be enriched in science and technology," he said while delivering a brief address to the officials after the inspection. “You have to be involved in the study of science. At the same time, you have to be strong in moral strength. Patriotism, honesty and devotion to duty are essential for government officials.”
Mohammad Munir Chowdhury, Director General of The National Museum of Science and Technology said, "The Science Museum wants to spread the light of science and technology across the country through government officials. Government officials are a powerful means of promoting science and technology at the grassroots level.”
